Co-Managing Partner in Grant Thornton, Kazakhstan

We are very delighted to announce the appointment of Zhanbota Bekenov as a Co-Managing Partner of Grant Thornton, effective from January 11, 2016.

Zhanbota Bekenov is an experienced Audit Partner, with more than 31 years experience in auditing and accounting, specifically, with 8 years of experience with the Control and Revision Department of the Ministry of Finance and more than 23 years of experience in Big 4 firms. While working in Big 4 firms, he has been involved in audit and consulting engagements in different industries including: oil & gas, mining, energy, finance, transport, telecommunication etc. and will bring a wealth of leadership and operational management experience into our practice.

The leadership of our firm is very confident in Zhanbota’s ability to accelerate the growth of the firm and increase its market share through his strong business experience.
